2 Pot Rear Calipers.

It’s the entry-level rear kit, for cars that don’t need or can’t fit a 4-pot. It’s the “standard” caliper body, as opposed to the lighter “Hollow” design.

Hollow & Hollow Racing Style Calipers.

These are the latest and greatest we offer. Available in many sizes and styles, the weight saving over the Monoblock style is substantial. We recommend the Hollow version for road legal vehicles (subject to the handbrake notice below) and the Hollow Racing for Track Only vehicles as they do not have same dust protection required for road use.

Information:

• The Sport Hollow Caliper is crafted from forged aluminium using the Monoblock Forging process, which aligns the grain structure for enhanced durability. CNC 3D machining technology is then applied to achieve the hollow design, optimizing the caliper for weight reduction, increased heat dissipation, and superior braking force.
• These features make it ideal for advanced GT racing cars.

Electronic Handbrake (EPB) Calipers.

Our EPB caliper is designed for vehicles fitted with an electronic parking brake (EPB). It works with your vehicle’s original EPB system without any modification, so you keep the factory parking brake function alongside the improved braking performance. The design is patented in many countries.

The parking brake works mechanically, with a floating design that clamps the disc from both sides, so it does not rely on hydraulic pressure to hold the car. This avoids any interference between the handbrake and the brake pedal, and there is no risk of the parking brake releasing through a loss of fluid pressure. Both the service brake and the parking brake are built into one caliper, so there is no need for a second caliper on each side. This saves weight and gives a cleaner-looking installation.

As an option, the EPB calipers are only currently available in 330-356 (4 Pot) Calipers.

Information:

• The EPB Hollow Caliper is made from aluminium; we form the main body first by Standard Forging process to achieve the effect of aligning the grain structure. Then apply CNC 3D processing technology to carve out the hollow design. The features of this product are to decrease weight, speed up the heat dissipation, effectively reduce brake temperature and enhance the braking force.

Dual Feed Rear Calipers.

As an option, all the rear brake kits in 330 and 356mm are available for upgrading to Dual Feed calipers.

Information:

• The caliper set should be used with a standalone Hydraulic handbrake & reservoir which connects to the Dual Feed caliper.
• Each caliper has two individual fluid feeds, each of them control four brake pads. One of the feeds is used for the regular brake pedal feed; the other feed is for the Hydraulic handbrake cylinder.
• We use polished titanium coating on the hydraulic handbrake cylinder and the lever for this caliper set. Not only to increase the appearance and touches, but also control driving movement.
• Dual Feed caliper has been patented. It is specially designed by us for drift and rally competition.
• The biggest feature of this caliper set is to let the racer accurately do drifting action by using pedal brake and handbrake at the same time. It makes the difficult drifting and rally competition become easy to manipulate perfectly.
• This caliper set comes with race brake pad.

Patent Handbrake Calipers.

1. This product adopts our patented handbrake mechanism design, integrating both service braking and parking brake functions into a single caliper. There is no need to install an additional handbrake caliper, which reduces overall brake system weight and provides a cleaner, more refined installation.
2. The system directly utilizes the OEM handbrake cable mechanism and achieves parking functionality through the patented actuation structure. Compared to conventional systems that rely on hydraulic pressure to maintain braking force, this design uses a floating mechanical clamping structure, eliminating the need to rely on hydraulic pressure for long-term holding. This prevents parking risks caused by hydraulic pressure loss and avoids interference between the handbrake lever and brake pedal, making it more suitable for long-term street use.
3. This product is primarily designed for street vehicles with full parking brake functionality and is not intended for drifting applications. For hydraulic handbrake or drifting purposes, we recommend using our 4-piston Dual Feed caliper (4 Pot Dual Feed Caliper).

Circuit-X Calipers.

The Circuit-X caliper is designed for track and motorsport use only. It has no handbrake or EPB function, so it is not suitable for road use.

Handbrake / Parking Brake Information – Please Read Before Ordering

Every D2 rear brake kit is listed by caliper type. How your handbrake works with the new kit depends on the type of factory handbrake your vehicle has.

✅ Our Recommendation

Where the Patent Handbrake caliper is available for your vehicle, we strongly recommend upgrading to it. It is our patented caliper with a mechanical handbrake built in, holding the car securely without relying on hydraulic pressure. It’s the safest choice for road use, daily driving and parking on inclines.

Caliper options

• Standard 2-Pot Caliper / Hollow / Hollow Racing – Supports the OE handbrake function (where marked).
  • Drum-in-hat handbrake (a small drum inside the rear disc): the factory handbrake is retained and works as normal.
  • Cable-pull caliper handbrake (the handbrake cable connects to the back of the factory rear caliper): the handbrake is applied hydraulically through the new caliper. See the MOT notice below. Off Road / Motorsport Use Only.
• Patent Handbrake – D2’s patented caliper with a mechanical handbrake built in. It connects directly to your OE handbrake cable and holds the car mechanically, without relying on hydraulic pressure. Recommended for all UK road cars with a cable-pull caliper handbrake. Not suitable for drifting.
• Dual Feed – For drift and rally use. Requires a separate hydraulic handbrake. Off Road / Motorsport Use Only.
• EPB – Compatible with your vehicle’s electronic parking brake (4-pot calipers only).
• Circuit-X – Track use only. No handbrake or EPB function.

⚠️ UK MOT Notice

The MOT inspection manual states that on vehicles first used on or after 1 January 1968, a parking brake must be held by direct mechanical action. A parking brake that works only by hydraulic pressure is not acceptable and is a fail.

If your vehicle has a cable-pull caliper handbrake from the factory, the Standard 2-Pot, Hollow and Hollow Racing kits are sold for OFF ROAD / MOTORSPORT USE ONLY and are purchased at the customer’s own risk. For road use on these vehicles, please choose the Patent Handbrake option where available.

• We offer a range of brake pads to meet different driving needs, including street, sport, and race options. Our discs feature a two-piece design, with the center bell made from aluminium to reduce unsprung weight. The arc vent design ensures efficient heat dissipation, lowering disc temperatures quickly.
• All metal components are finished with a high-standard anti-corrosive coating to ensure long-lasting performance.

Standard Colour Options:

• Purple, Black, Yellow, Red and Anodized Black. We also offer custom colour options, with over 20,000 colours available based on PPG or Axalta colour codes, allowing for a truly unique caliper finish.

Disc Options:

• Standard Drilled or Slotted Discs available For customers who prefer a custom slotted disc style, we offer tailored solutions at an additional cost (minimum order quantity: 1 set).

Polished Finishes:

• We provide Polished Forged Silver, Gold, and Titanium calipers. Special polished treatments enhance the visual appeal and uniqueness of your setup.
• For optimal brake balance, we recommend selecting identical rotor sizes for both front and rear when purchasing a brake kit. Our front-to-rear ratio is 7:3, and using the same rotor size ensures the best brake balance.
